START with the basics.
The basics will get you where you want to go.
The basics are safe.
The basics will build you up.
The basics will make you stronger.
The basics are fundamental exercises such as squats, deadlifts, rows, chest presses, shoulder presses, biceps curls and dips. Maybe even chin-ups (although many people find these difficult). Learn these first – THEN tackle the rest.
The basics also include learning about what protein, carbohydrates and fat are and what role they play in your exercise goals. DON’T start by eliminating a lot of foods and then not being able to get back to a reasonable level where you can exercise and live your life. Lots of people go from junk food to complete bans and extreme diets. But has it ever worked? Nope.
Go back to basics, ladies – it’s the only way.
