I generally don’t get sweet cravings, but when I do it’s always chocolate I fancy. This chocolate mousse recipe made me pleasantly surprised! The mousse is protein rich due to the egg whites and low in fat. You can if you wish, replace the honey with stevia or sweetener to make it sugar-free, it’s up to you.
2-3 portions:
- 5 egg whites
- 2-3 tbsp cacao
- 1-2 tbsp honey
- 1 pinch vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of salt
Method: Whip the egg whites to firm peaks. Then gently stir the rest of the ingredients in and divide in two/three bowls. Serve with berries and coconut flakes (optional).
It’s really that easy!
